Visit scenic Virginia's Blackwater Swamp, prime retirement location for bald cypruses! (cypri?)

There are bald cyprus trees in the Blackroot Swamp in Virginia, USA that have been scientifically dated to be 830 years old.

Transcript from Youtube video source*:

"The oldest trees in Virginia that have been dated are bald cypruses on the Blackwater River.  They were dated by a geoscientist from the University of Arkansas and we know there are trees in the Blackwater Swamp that are 833 years old and Dr. Staley [spelling?] suspects that there are probably thousand-year-old trees in that swamp."

(Location in the video: 4:32-4:56 minutes.)
